Make a Short Trip to Frere Hall

Frere Hall is an architectural marvel built during the British Colonial Era in the honour of Sir Henry Bartle Frere – a prominent British administrator who advocated economic development of the region. Sir Henry Frere is also remembered to make Sindhi the official language of Sindh. Frere Hall, made up of limestone and sandstones, is created in Venetian Gothic style. There’s an art gallery comprising outstanding works of the nation’s well-known painter named Sadequain. Furthermore, there are two beautiful lawns called ‘Bagh-e-Jinnah’ just outside the monument. Bibliophiles should visit the Frere Hall on Sundays. Book fair is generally held in its courtyard then.

Learn about Fighter Jets at Pakistan Air Force Museum

Opened to public in 1997, the Pakistan Air Force Museum (PAF) is one destination where people can check out sturdy fighter jets like F-104 Starfighter, F-86 Sabre, U-Mig15, MFI – 17(Mushshak) etc. It features an archives gallery showcasing Viking – Quaid-e-Azam’s aircraft, an Indian Gnat aircraft which was force landed at Pasroor in the 1965 war. The sub-galleries present the history of aerial warfare and fighter aircraft models. Kids can have an enjoyable time at the on-site children’s play area.

Shop at the Dolmen Mall Clifton

Dolmen Mall Clifton, the largest shopping mall of Pakistan, has some of the world’s most famous brands such as Nike, Nine West, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, The Body Shop, and Charles & Keith.
